NILES - Loretta Mymo Quinlan, 92, died at 2:00 pm on Wednesday November 19, 2014 at the Omni Manor Health Care Center.
She was born in Niles on October 6, 1922 the daughter of Antonio and Josephine (Sanfrey) Mymo.
She was a 1940 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and enjoyed going to her class reunion parties. She retired in 1985 after working 26 years in the inspection department at the Packard Electric Company and was a member of St. Stephen Church. Loretta was fun loving and everyones favorite aunt. No one was a stranger and she made everyone feel at home when they were with her. She cherished spending time with family and loved shopping for bargains.
Loretta is survived by two daughters, Anita Guarino Brown of Warren, Helen J. Guarino Reeder and her husband Thomas W. Reeder of Austintown; four grandchildren, Andrew (Amy) Bertilacci of Niles, Shawn Bertilacci of Niles, Stacy Bertani of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Lori (Scott) Schwaemmle of Cumming, Georgia; nine great grandchildren, Prospero Bertilacci, Amanda Bertilacci, Alycia Gatta, Christian (Abigail) Gatta, Marisa Bertani, Nicholas Bertani, Anthony Bertani, Anna Schwaemmle, MaryKate Schwaemmle; sister-in-law, Betty Mymo of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard A. Quinlan whom she married in 1962 and who died on June 22, 1987; son-in-law, Dick Brown; six sisters, Helen Albu, Mary Ventura Infante, Roselyn Fonce, Lena Fogarty, Theresa Guarino, Catherine Horniak; six brothers, Dominic Mymo, Anthony "Butch" Mymo, Sam Mymo, Joseph Mymo, William Mymo Sr., James Mymo Sr.
Calling Hours will be Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Church. Rev. James Korda will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Howland Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
