MINERAL RIDGE - Minnie E. Wolford, 44, passed away peacefully at 9:55am, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the home of her sister in Hubbard. . Minnie was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 09, 1970, the daughter of Dale and Patricia (Durig) Wolford and lived in this area all her life.
Minnie graduated from the Fairhaven program and was employed at the Fairhaven workshop until 2008, she loved listening to music and watch movies on the television, going out to eat at several area restaurants and being with her family. She was a member of Saint Mary's Church in Mineral Ridge.
Minnie is survived by four sisters and seven brothers, Kathy (Don) Garland of Liberty Township, Cindy Alvarez of Mineral Ridge, Debra Wolford and Dr. Michael Turkali of McDonald, Karen (Brian) Lengyel of Lordstown, Joseph (Patricia) Wolford of Idaho, Frank (Teri) Wolford of Salem, Donald Wolford of McDonald, David Wolford of Warren, Leonard (Sandra) Wolford of Columbus, John (Cheri) Wolford of McDonald, Paul (Becky) Wolford of McDonald, 26 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Glen and Jerald Wolford.
Funeral services were held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Saint Stephen Church with the Rev. Thomas Kraszewski officiating. Burial was in Saint Stephen Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were arranged by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
