Nancy Henninger Obituary
NILES - Nancy J. Henninger, 59, passed away peacefully at 4:52 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Warren, Ohio on June 27, 1956 the daughter of Thomas and Cora (Alexander) Quinlan. She retired in 2010 as the custodial manager for WJ Service in Warren. She was a member of the Sons and Daughters division of the Army and Navy Garrison 252 in Niles.
Nancy cherished all family activities, especially spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting porcelain Indian dolls, camping, fishing and coloring.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Norman T. Henninger Jr. whom she married on July 11, 1992; three sons, Gregory T. Johnson Sr.of Niles, Dale P. (Cheryl) Johnson of Niles, Joseph A. Rudolph Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two step children, Norman T. (Cherie) Henninger III of Clayton, North Carolina, Nannette (Sid) McMahan of Niles; 24 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Sara Thedens of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Memorial Service will be Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
The family acknowledges the kind and compassionate care of the many friends that came to her home to provide help, the staff at St. Joseph Hospital ICU, St. Joseph Cancer Care Center and Drayer Physical Therapy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Cancer Care Center.
