Roy Jones Obituary

NILES - Roy Irvin Jones, 61, died Tuesday evening April 8, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on December 15, 1952 the son of Stanley and Alma (Hall) Jones.
Roy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a general laborer for Durig's Landscaping and Supply. He loved fishing and football and was a Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

Roy is survived by a daughter, Jami (David) Palm of Niles, son, Roy (Julie) Jones of Niles; four grandchildren, Ryan, David, Tanner, Cullen; a great granddaughter, Emma; four brothers, Ray (Terri) Jones of Niles, Ronald Jones of Niles, Dennis Jones and Marlene of Niles, Bruce Jones and Sally of Liberty; two sisters, Sherrie (Bob) Everett of Niles, Irene "Cindy" Reeder of Niles and his former wife whom he loved dearly, Patricia Bokan Jones.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Thomas Kraszewski of St. Stephen Church officiating.
