NILES - Shirley Ann (Klouse) Cappello, 63, passed away at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Warren on October 8, 1953 the daughter of John and Virginia (Rek) March Jr. and lived in the Niles community most of her life.
She was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She retired in 2016 after working over 30 years as a registered nurse and data analyst at the Sharon Regional Hospital. Shirley enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, cooking and painting. She loved spending time with her family and exercising with her friends at Fit Together in Howland.
Shirley is survived by her husband Joseph W. Cappello Sr. whom she married on June 14, 2008; five children, Matthew (Brandy) Klouse of Stow, Joseph W. Cappello Jr. and fiancee, Shonna Colon of Ashtabula, Gregory (Jessica) Klouse of Huntersville, North Carolina, Anthony Cappello of Youngstown, Laura Klouse and fiancee Kory Rizzo of Mentor; granddaughter, Hailey Joy Klouse of Stow and brother, James (Rachel) March of Niles.
Calling Hours will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory as a breast cancer survivor to the Sharon Regional Health Center Cancer Care Center 2320 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA 16148.
