Thomas McIntyre Obituary

On November 2, 2015 Thomas W. McIntyre died the way he lived, surrounded by love.

He was husband to Beverly, a father to Michelle Oakes of Streetsboro, Matthew Oakes of Ravenna and his rescue beagle Emily. He was grandfather to his rescue grand doggies, Dividend, Commander, Ruca and treat provider to fur neighbors Shelby and Gracie.

Tom is also survived by his brother James (Beulah); niece Kim (Richard) Early and their three daughters; nephew James (Beth) McIntyre and their five children; sister in law Suzanne McIntyre and niece and nephew, Kristen and Eric Craig.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Randall and Margaret McIntyre; his brother Richard and his fur grandbabies Lupu, Ole, and Linda.

A retiree after 34 years of service to GM Lordstown, Tom was a devoted employee of Lordstown Village Parks Department who always said, "I'm a blessed man, I love what I do!"

In lieu of services, Tom requested a picnic with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate his life. Everyone is welcome at the Lordstown Fire Department on Salt Springs Road on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from noon to 2 p.m.

Tom loved to rescue animals and wished that memorial contributions may be made to Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue, www.CBBR.org.
