ROSWELL- Elvera Josephine Mazza, 85, of Rosewell, Georgia and formerly of Roseway Drive SE, Warren, Ohio , died at 5:30 am on Friday February 12, 2010 at the Heather House in Rosewell.

She was born in Warren, Ohio on October 19, 1924 to Lorenzo and Concetta (Infante) Donnarumma and lived most of her life in Trumbull County.
 
A graduate of Niles McKinley High School and the Youngstown Hospital Association School of Nursing, she retired in 1987 after working 40 years as a registered nurse at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and the TMH retirees.
 
Elvera is survived by two sons, William S. (Nancy) Mazza Jr. of Roswell, GA, Richard A. Mazza of Sherman Oakes, CA; three grandchildren, Brian Mazza, Courtney Mazza, Kaleigh Mazza.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Mazza Sr. whom she married on May 14, 1949 and who died on March 20, 2004; two sisters, Armenia Beltz and Yolanda Batovsky.
 
Entombment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

    Mom, a day doesn't go by that you are not fondly remembered & always thought of. I wish you had met my cat, Ginger. You would have loved her!! You are and were truly a great woman and a classy lady!! The mold was broken after you were born!! I miss you and think of you daily. Thanks for being a fantastic mom and outstanding woman.
