NILES - Evelyn A. Folkwein Widomski Bennett, 82, of 184 Oak Knoll Street, died at 4:23 am on Thursday December 31, 2009 at the St. Joseph Health Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 2, 1927 to John and Anna (Ruskovich) Seach.
 
A 1946 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, she was a sales clerk for 10 years at Strouss Department Store and for 5 years at McKelvey's. She was a member of the Niles First United Methodist Church, Niles Moose Club - Ladies of the Moose #113 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Niles Eagle's Lodge.  She was a senior regent and served on the Academy of Friendship and College of Regents of the Niles Moose Club.  She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, baking, dancing and especially family activities.
 
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Reuben Bennett; three sons, Rev. Edward Harold (Shirley) Folkwein of Billings, MT, Ronald Alan (Linda) Folkwein of Glendale, AZ, Kenneth Lovett (Debra) Folkwein of Lowellville; step-children, Philip Widomski of Boardman, Kenneth Widomski of Canfield, Brenda Majecic of Vienna, Diane Lee Bennett of Norfolk, VA; sister, Betty Amendolea of Boardman; four grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Shawn, Dana Folkwein; five great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by husbands, Edward Folkwein, Felix Widomski; infant daughter, two infant sons; brother, John Seach and step-son Victor Bennett.
 
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 4 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.  The Funeral will be Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 4:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the service.  Private burial will be on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to any Children's Hospital.
