I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. I am one of her old friends from grade school. Janet moved away from the area after her marriage as so did I. I moved to Kentucky but we always keept in touch. I also lived in Indiana and Florida. We would talk of the phone from time to time no matter where I was. Janet was not a rolling stone like me, she stayed put.I know she loved and admired her husband and children. I am sure she will be missed by all her loved ones. I know for myself, I will not get that call out of the blue from her. God Bless and stay strong. Cookie

TO JANET'S CHILDREN: PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON THE DEATH OF YOUR MOTHER. JANET AND I WERE LONG TIME FRIENDS. WE GREW UP TOGETHER AND WENT TO GRADE SCHOOL, CATHEDRAL CHURCH. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE SILLY THINGS THAT WE DID, THE CRAZY WILD JACKETS AND HATS THAT WERE FLOURESCENT. ETC. JANET AND I BOTH HAD CURVITURE OF THE SPINE AND WE BOTH WERE FITTED UP WITH BRACES.........UGLY BRACES.......STEEL AND LEATHER.. I WORE MINE FOR ABOUT EIGHT YEARS........JANET WORE HERS FOR ABOUT 8 MINUTES....LOL ONE MEMORY THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET:.......A BUNCH OF US GIRLS WERE GOING ROLLER SKATING AND WE WALKED TO THE CORNER TO MEET.........JANET SAID..."OOPS, I FORGOT SOMETHING AND SHE RAN BACK HOME.......HER MOTHER WAS SITTING ON A SWING ON THE FRONT PORCH.................SHE RAN UP TO HER AND GAVE HER A KISS.......WE ALL WAITED AND SAID WHAT DID YOU FORGET?........HER ANSWER WAS......."I FORGOT TO KISS MOM" IF I WOULD HAVE DONE THAT, MY MOTHER WOULD HAVE SUSPECTED THAT I DID SOMETHING.... I TALKED WITH YOUR MOTHER WHEN YOUR DAD WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND I KNOW THAT HER BACK WAS REALLY GIVING HER PROBLEMS........AND I KNEW WHERE SHE WAS COMING FROM. I KNOW THAT SHE IS AT PEACE AND NO MORE PAIN. I WILL ALWAYS KEEP THE GOOD MEMORIES OF OUR YOUTH. MAY GOD GIVE EACH ONE OF HER CHILDREN ........PEACE AND HAPPINESS.......THAT IS WHAT JANET WOULD WANT. SINCERELY, BARBARA (YETSKO) DUFFY
