Julia Ann Piecuch, 79, passed away peacefully at 4:46 p.m. on Friday April 19, 2024 at the Hospice House in Poland with her children at her side. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 13, 1944 and lived in Niles all of her adult life. She was a homemaker and member of St. Stephen Church. Julia cherished the time spent with her caring family and taking trips with them. She loved animals and adored her two cats. She was an avid history buff and loved programs and videos about animals.
Julia is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Brooks of Girard and son, Edward J. (Bobbie Jo) Piecuch of Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward James Piecuch whom she married on December 29, 1962 and who died on June 19, 2020; son Michael Piecuch who died on January 19, 2016; son-in-law David Brooks who died on September 30, 2020 and her parents, mother Grace Moore and father Frank Bevan.
A Service of Christian Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. on Monday April 29, 2024 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Steven Agostino will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Julia's name may be made to Hospice House (Poland, Ohio), West Side Cats (Youngstown) or Angels for Animals (Canfield).
