Albert G. Nuzzi

Albert George Nuzzi , 82, passed away peacefully at 4:50p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living, Howland following a short illness. Albert was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 17, 1941 the son of Michael and Mary Ellen (Grosbeck) Nuzzi.

Al attended Saint Meinrad Seminary in Indiana, received a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Youngstown State University and a Masters degree from Westminister College. He was employed at Packard Electric Company, Warren for 29 years as the payroll supervisor and retired in January of 1999. He was a member of Saint Mary's Church, Mineral Ridge and was an altar server. He was an avid bowler and a member of several local bowling leagues.

Albert is survived by a daughter, Michele (David) Zigmont of Cortland, three sons, Albert G. (Sharon) Nuzzi of Howland, Michael (Amanda) Nuzzi of Niles, Donald (Allison) Nuzzi of Apex, North Carolina, two sisters; Sheila Wozniak, Sandi A. (Donald) Steele, a brother, Michael P. (Barbara) Nuzzi all of Niles; nine grandchildren Julia Sheffield, Jarrod (Delaney) Sheffield, Alysa (Scott) Christiansen, Selina (Don) Kratofil, Olivia Nuzzi, Andrew Nuzzi, Mariah Nuzzi, Lilah Nuzzi, Hannah Nuzzi, four great -grandchildren; Lillian and Zoey Sheffield, Viviana and Harlow Christiansen.

At Al's request, there will be a private burial at All Souls Cemetery. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass at Saint Mary's Church, Mineral Ridge will be announced in the near future for everyone to attend.

The family extends a sincere thank you to the third floor staff and caregivers at Shepherd of the Valley and Traditions Hospice for their dedicated care over the past several months.
