Charlene R. Seiple

Charlene R. Seiple, 83, passed away peacefully at 11:35 a.m. on Sunday May 15, 2022 at the Continuing Health Care of Niles. She was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia on September 27, 1938 the daughter of Charles D. and Nina M. (Mick) Richards.

She retired after 30 plus years of service at General Electric Austintown Coil Works. She cherished the time spent with family and watching all the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlene is survived by three children, Nina P. Thomas of Niles, Charles C. (Suzanne) Pierce of Niles, Samie Lu Ellwood of Niles; four grandchildren, James (Jessica) Thomas, Jeffrey (Mechee) Thomas, Charles D. (Jennifer) Pierce, Robert (Kristie) Pierce; nine great grandchildren, Jimmy, Jacob, Luke, Liam, Levi, Charles T., Gracelyn, Louis, Josephine Clair; and brother-in-law, William A. Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband George William Seiple; two sons-in-law, James R. Thomas, Dennis M. Ellwood and four sisters, Ladine Jenkins, Delorise "Sis" Holt, Polly Harrison, Mary Ann Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 19, 2022 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Williams Syndrome Association (williams-syndrome.org)  The family acknowledges the kind and compassionate care of Continuing Healthcare of Niles and Hospice of the Valley.
