Jeanne Eldridge Obituary
NILES - Jeanne M. Eldridge, 64, passed away peacefully at 2:39 p.m. on Thursday April 9, 2015 at the St. Joseph Health Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Warren on February 19, 1951 the daughter of Joseph Anthony and Angeline (Toriello) Gentile Sr. and lived in this community most of her life.
Jeanne was a 1969 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked for forty years in the medical profession. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles. She enjoyed watching sports and traveling with her husband. She cherished the time spent with her family, special friends and especially her nieces.
Jeanne is survived by her brother, Joseph Anthony (Louise) Gentile Jr. of Niles; sister, RoseMarie (John) DelBene of Girard; three nieces, Nicole (Jason) Cole, Michelle Surak both of Niles, Laura Surak Dockery of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; aunt, Kathryn Trina of Niles; three brothers in law, Bradley T. Eldridge of Rome, New York, Christian M. Eldridge of McDonald, Joseph M. Surak of Liberty and several caring friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard D. "Rick" Eldridge whom she married on October 17, 1981 and who passed away on October 20, 2014.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 13, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Service of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
