Lois Watkins Obituary
MINERAL RIDGE - Lois M. Watkins, 92, died at 5:28 a.m. on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the Vista Care at the Ridge.
She was born in Niles, Ohio on January 11, 1924 the daughter of Alvah J. and Lillian G.(Dechert) Goehring.
She was a Niles McKinley High School graduate and retired in 1966 after working 25 years as an inspector at General Electric in Niles. She was a member of Niles First United Methodist Church, the church choir, Order of Amaranth and the Ferndale Rebekah Lodge.
Lois is survived by two sisters, Donna Davis of Chagrin Falls and Mary Infante of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Watkins whom she married on December 5, 1964 and who died on December 5, 1993; a brother, Paul Goehring and a sister, Audrey James.
The funeral will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kerr Cemetery Chapel. Crossroads Chaplain Cristine Orr will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
