Margaret Keis Obituary
NILES - Margaret Alma Keis, 94, passed away peacefully at 6:40 pm on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Niles following an extended illness.
She was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on July 27, 1919 the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Bradley.
Margaret worked for over 20 years at Saint Stephen School cafeteria and retired in 1980. She was a member of Saint Stephen Church and enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking and baking pies.
Margaret is survived by a son, James (Barbara) Keis; two daughters, Susie (Tom) Williams, Donna Marie Lelesch all of Niles; six grandchildren, Charles Marsh, Jason Keis, Jennifer (Ed) Joseph, Rob (Shannon) Williams, Stephanie (Darryn) Paul, Michael (Theresa) Rendziniak; three step-grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband James Karl Keis whom she married June 17, 1949 and who died April 27, 1985. Three brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Service of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10 am at the funeral home with Deacon Michael Hanshaw officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
