NILES - Mary Alyce McClimans, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening November 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in St. Mary's Pennsylvania on June 23, 1928 the daughter of Thomas and Lillian (Leavitt) Pitts.
She was a member of the Unity Church Center, The Pocahontas Club and served as the Great Pocahontas, The Match and Patch Club of Niles and The Renegades and Women of Unity. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and especially cherished the time spent with her family.
Mary Alyce is survived by her husband of 70 years Raymond C. McClimans whom she married on March 26, 1946 in Warren; three children, Sandra Lauth of Niles, Sherry (David) Davis of Newton Falls, Eric McClimans of Niles; son-in-law William Aley of Youngstown, 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Barbara Crawford of Niles, Connie (Louie) Galeotti of Keating Summit, Pennsylvania; two brothers, William Pitts of Fowler, Jerome (Kathy) Tenbuckel of Clymer, New York.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Aley who died on September 12, 2016; parents, step-mother Irene Elizabeth Fulcomer, siblings, Olive Rogers, John Pitts, twins, Donald and Doris Pitts.
Calling hours will be Monday, November 28, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home with funeral services on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
