NILES - Sean Joseph Scriven died unexpectedly Friday morning August 26, 2016 at his residence from a heart ailment. Sean was born in Warren, Ohio on March 2, 1963, the son of Paul J. and Betty Jean (Vaccaro) Scriven Sr and has lived here all his life.
He was a member of Saint Stephen Church, attended Saint Stephen School and the Niles City Schools. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and listening to music. Family gatherings and taking rides in the country were very special activities.
Sean is survived by three sisters, Diane Hilas and Stanley Henry of Warren, Karen (Ron) Browne of Jeromesville, Kathleen (Robert) Black of Niles; four nephews, Mickey (Sarah) Moyer, Christopher (Amber) Moyer, Craig (Bethany) Comanescu Jr., Paul (Vicki) Comanescu and several great nephews and nieces.
Sean was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Edward J. Scriven and Paul J. Scriven Jr.
Calling Hours will be Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where the Saint Stephen Bereavement Ministry will have a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Stephen Church with the Rev. James Korda as the celebrant. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Sean requested no flowers and that memorial contributions may be made to the Trumbull County Animal Welfare League.
