Alan Clifford Bray

Alan Clifford Bray, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening June 29, 2024 at the residence. Alan was born in Warren, Ohio on December 16, 1944 the son of Clifford and Helen (Hegel) Bray and has lived in this area all his life, spending the winter months in Florida and enjoying the relaxation on the beach.

Alan was a high school graduate and honorably served in the United States Army. He was employed at the Packard Electric Company as an assembler and truck driver with over 35 years of faithful service. Alan was a member of Saint Mary's Church of Mineral Ridge. He cherished all the family activities with his children, grandchildren and extended family members. He enjoyed camping and for many years, was an avid drag car and dirt track racer. He would spend time on his motorcycle, collecting car parts and tinkering in his garage.

Alan is survived by two daughters, Allison Bray and husband Michael Croghan of Hilliard, Abby Terrick and her husband Shane of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Elaina Edgington of Hilliard, Sadie and Oliver Terrick both of Pittsburgh; brother, Richard (Jill) Bray of Brookfield. Alan was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Ann "Patty" Adair Bray whom he married July 17, 1970 and she passed away on December 9, 2023; two granddaughters, Emily and Madeleine Edgington; and sister, DeAnn (Bray) Baker.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024 and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday July 6, 2024 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Saint Mary's Church, Mineral Ridge preceded by a 10:00 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home. The Rev. John Madden will be the celebrant. A private burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
