Albert John Beltz

Albert John Beltz , 73, passed away on Tuesday afternoon August 20, 2024 at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center Emergency Room following a heart attack suffered at home. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 17, 1951 the son of Albert James and Armenia (Donnarumma) Beltz and lived in this area his entire life.

Albert was a graduated of John F. Kennedy High School in Warren and attended Hiram Scott College and Case Western Reserve University. He received a Bachelors Degree in Education from Youngstown State University. He was a teacher at John F. Kennedy High School, Warren for ten years and retired in 2019 from the Akiva Academy in Youngstown following four years of faithful service. He was an active member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Vienna and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Albert is survived by two sons, Rev. Albert J. Beltz of Bellevue, the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, Thomas (Sarah) Beltz of Canfield; daughter, Elizabeth Beltz of Niles; two grandchildren, Julia and John Beltz; three brothers, Lawrence Beltz of Niles, Roger Beltz of Niles, Thomas Beltz of Natick, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Ann Beltz on May 10, 2020.

Calling Hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Vienna. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Fongemie and Rev. Joshua Houck. A private entombment service for immediate family will be in Pineview Cemetery Mausoleum.
