Andrew P. Doughty

Andrew P. Doughty, 65, passed away at 9:38 a.m. on Sunday March 29, 2026 at Hospice House in Poland. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on June 21, 1960 the son of Donald Francis and Barbara F. (Vaupel) Doughty.

Andy was a 1978 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and honorably served in the United State Army. For many years, he was a dispatcher for Rood Trucking Company. Andy was a life member of the Niles Army and Navy Post 244 and enjoyed fishing, playing pool and reading especially Stephen King Novels. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Guardians.

Andy is survived by his children, Patrick Doughty of Girard, Kelly (Tom) Groves of New Mexico, Cody Doughty; two grandchildren, Leanna Doughty, Dalton Groves; great grandson Jonathan; two sisters, Dorothy (Robert) Allen of Niles, Sandee Doughty of Niles and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kaitlyn Doughty and two brothers, Christopher M. Doughty and Donald R. Doughty.

There are no calling hours or funeral service.
