Barbara Lynn (Cox) Bickel

Barbara Lynn (Cox) Bickel , 75, passed away peacefully at 4:05 a.m.on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the St. Joseph Health Center following an extended illness. Barbara was born in Warren, Ohio on February 23, 1949 the daughter of Virgil and Mary Hazel (Foster) Cox and has lived in the Niles and Warren area all her life.

Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and retired as an assembler at Delphi Packard Electric Company following over 30 years of faithful service. She enjoyed bowling and playing slot machines at the area casinos.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, William "Billy" Kanchok of Warren, Rodney Bickel of Champion; six grandchildren, Piper, Aleyna, Zachary, Jack, Patrick, Kyle; two brothers, Wayne Cox of Warren, and Kenneth Cox of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday June 6, 2024 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. The Rev. Dwight Hedglin will officiate.
