Barbara Ann Crawford

NILES - Barbara Ann Crawford, 79, passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday November 1, 2018 in the comfort of her home following a long illness. She was born in Renova, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1939 the daughter of Thomas and Irene Elizabeth (Fulcomer) Pitts. Barbara retired after working 30 years as an assembler at Packard Electric. She enjoyed her pets, feeding the birds and squirrels, camping and fishing at Lake Erie. She especially cherished the time spent with her loving family. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Darlene Loftus of Niles, Michelle Prox (Bill Brundage) of Warren; son, Bruce David Crawford (Lisa Caldwell) of Poland; seven grandchildren, Joshua Crawford, Crystal (Jeff) Badyna, Tara (Tim) Sowers, Dana Loftus (Nick Lambert), Joseph (Taylor) Prox, Jacob Crawford, Shannon Crawford; seven great grandchildren, Alvah, Adeline, Timothy, Zora, Zach, Lilah, Rhett; sister, Connie (Louis) Galeotti of Keating Summit, Pennsylvania and brother, William Pitts of Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband David H. Crawford whom she married on October 22, 1955 and who died on March 10, 2016 and siblings, Mary Alyce, Doris, John and Donald. Calling hours will be Monday November 5, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Care Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association. The family appreciates the kind and compassionate care of Southern Care Hospice.
