Carol Christine Vars

AUSTINTOWN - Carol Christine Vars, 55, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Warren, Ohio on November 7, 1960 the daughter of Leonard H. and Christine E. (Coppney) Stanley Sr. Carol had a great heart and would have done anything for anyone. She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and continued her studies at the Kent State University. Carol loved being around her family especially just relaxing and watching a movie with Marissa. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and all types of music. Carol is survived by two daughters, Marissa Vars with whom she lived, Natasha Carter of Riverside, California; son, Brandon Vars of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, DayJah Grace, Shawn Kemp, Rayden Bullock, Zaki Bullock; sister, Patty Zamaria of Warren; four brothers, John Stanley of Warren, Leonard Stanley Jr. of Missouri, David Stanley of McDonald, Doug (Carol) Tygrett of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Justin Vars and a brother, Criss Kellar. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. A service with words of remembrance by the family will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
