Catherine K. Bartek

NORTH JACKSON - Catherine K. "Cathy" Bartek, 52, passed away at 4:20 pm on Friday March 28, 2014 at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Warren on September 10, 1961 the daughter of Leo S. and Marjorie (Fabian) Cline. She was a 1979 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. For 34 years she worked in various departments for the J.C. Penney Company, starting at the Eastwood Mall and then at the Austintown Plaza. She loved and cherished the time spent with her children and brother. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach, going to concerts and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Cathy is survived by two sons, Cory Michael Bartek and Sean Jacob Bartek at home; brother, Richard Cline of Niles; nephew Jordan Cline and niece, Ashley Cline. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Michael Bartek whom she married on August 11, 1984 and who passed away on April 4, 2007 and her parents. Calling hours will be Monday, March 31, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home where friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Matt Lowe of the Grace Fellowship Church will officiate.
