MORRISTON, FLORIDA - Charles R.
Fair, 90, passed away peacefully at 11:53 am, Sunday,
April 14, 2013 at the Haven Hospice of Chiefland, Florida.
Charles was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania
on September 29, 1922 the son of Irvin B. and Lelia M. (Lowrey)
Fair. He lived in Niles most of his life and moved to Florida
eight years ago to be with his daughter.
An Army veteran of World War II, he retired from
Niles Republic Steel as a roll grinder and attended Niles Assembly
of God Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol (Thomas
Edward) Hamm with whom he lived; two grandsons, Timothy (Shawna)
Hamm of North Jackson, Thomas (Amy) Hamm of Nicholasville,
Kentucky; six great grandchildren, Alyssa, Haylee, Taylor, Shane,
Tori, and Olivia Hamm.
Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in
death by his wife, the former Kathryn J. Martray, whom he married
on February 14, 1942 and who died on May 3, 2009; three brothers,
Harold Fair, Merle Fair, Irving Fair; and two sisters, Thelma Fair
and Gladys Ramage.
Calling Hours will be Sunday, April 21, 2013 from
3 to 6 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral
will be Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral
home. Pastor Jonathan Moore will officiate. Military
Honors will be provided by the Trumbull County Honor Guard.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
