Christine E. Lorent

NILES - Christine E. Lorent, 82, passed away peacefully at 7:30 am, Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Warren following an extended illness. Christine was born in Fayetteville, West Virginia on April 6, 1932, the daughter of John and Nellie Belle Rutherford Coppney and came to this area many years ago. She retired in 1994 as a line operator at Packard Electric Company following 26 years of service. She enjoyed the family gatherings. Christine is survived by her husband Roy T. Lorent, two daughters, Patricia (Joseph) Zamaria, of Warren, Carol Vars of Niles, three sons Leonard Stanley of Missouri, David Stanley of McDonald, John Stanley of Niles, Daughter-in-Law Pam Stanley of Niles, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, two sisters Louise Pennington of West Virginia, Nancy Vandercook of Toledo, Ohio and a brother Albert Coppney of Boston, Mass. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Criss Keller and a grandson. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 5:00 pm to the 7:00 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. A Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in West Virginia.
