Cora Jo Williamson

Cora Jo Williamson, 74, passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023 at her home. She was born in Warren, Ohio on July 8, 1948 the daughter of Frank DiScerni and Clarice E. (Volkert) Davies and lived in the community most of her life.

Cora Jo was a 1966 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She was a member of the Niles First United Methodist Church. She retired in 2000 after working on the assembly line at Packard Electric Company. She enjoyed watching movies, going to drive-in theater where she was known as one of the Golden Girls by the owner, visiting Packard And Waddell Parks, going out to eat, going to visit her sissy, going on family vacations, and going to her son Jim's home for meals cooked by Robin. She loved spending time with beloved family especially her mother before her passing and her grandson Brandon who she was extremely proud of. She loved sunflowers and was an avid collector of Coca-Cola items and Precious Moment dolls and figurines.

Cora Jo is survived by two sons, Jim (Robin) Williamson of Niles, David Williamson of Fairplay, South Carolina. She had six grandchildren, Brandon (Fiance Danielle), Brittany Johnson (Ryan), Bradley (significant other Brooke), Dakota Williamson, Rebekah Mills (significant other Justin), Dalton Wolf (wife Morgan); five great grandsons, Kazio, Tucker, Max, Teddy, Sullivan; siblings, William K. Clark of Niles, Robin Lee (Morris) Clark of Boardman, John H. (Cynthia) Davies Sr of Niles, Frank DiScerni of Oregon.

She was preceded by her parents; her mother Clarice E. Davies; her biological father Frank DiScerni; William Clark who adopted her, and a brother Daniel A. Davies.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday May 20, 2023 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
