Curtis Ray Lewis Jr., 54, passed away on Monday morning August 3, 2026 at Mercy Health Saint Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born November 1, 1971 in Ashland, Kentucky the son of Curtis Ray and Gayle (Smith) Lewis Sr. He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and retired from General Motors in Lordstown.
He enjoyed watching action movies and his favorite television show was Law & Order SVU. He also spent time cooking family meals, playing video games and would always listen to classic country music.
Curtis is survived by a daughter, “his baby girl”, Katie Ray Lewis of Weathersfield Twsp.; two sons, Reece Lewis of Weathersfield Twsp., Andrew Zadravec of New York City, New York; two sisters, Carrie (Eric) Cook, Charlie Mae Lewis; nieces, Mileena Cook, Amber Schueler; nephews, Nate Cook and Kyle Manning.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Manning.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 15, 2026 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Reverend Douglas Brown of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
