In loving memory of David Wayne Pringle, 60, who passed away on the morning of Friday October 16, 2026 at his home. He was lovingly known as Dave, dad, papaw, uncle and was a life-long presence in the lives of so many. Dave was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, papaw, friends and protector who has strength, wisdom, humor and unwavering love that will be carried in the hearts of his family forever.

Born on September 25, 1966 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of Bernard G. and Lillian R. Strader Pringle. He spent his life working hard, providing for his family and making him self someone others could always depend on. For many years he worked as an over the road truck driver, but his greatest work was the life he built and the people he loved. Dave was a true “Jack of All Trades” and a “Master” of more than anyone could count.

There was seemingly nothing he could not do, whether he was working on vehicles, building or renovating a house, tackling a landscape project or figuring out how to fix something that everyone else gave up on.

He married the love of his life, Barbara C. Gromley Pringle on November 5, 1993 and together they built a family and a lifetime of memories. Dave loved his wife, children, grandchildren, mother and his extended family with a fierce and unwavering devotion. He was the kind of man who showed his love through his actions rather than grand declarations. You might not always hear him say it but you never had to wonder whether he would show up. It did not matter what you needed, where you were, what time it was, or how difficult the situation might be, he was always there. His wife, Barbara was his best friend, his children were his pride and his grandchildren brought another special kind of love in his life. To all of them, he was home. Dave was a big man in every sense of the word, large, burly, strong and perhaps intimidating to those who did not know him, but he was a gentle giant at heart. He was fearless when it came to protecting the people he loved. He was their rock and safe place. Beneath that tough exterior was a man with a sense of humor. He was a jokester with a big hearty laugh. He was never one to sugar coat the truth, and you could always count on him to tell it like it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not.

His love was genuine and his honesty absolute. He was a man of action, a dependable friend, trusted voice of reason and someone whose influence reached far beyond his own household. To those who knew and loved him, Dave was more than a husband, father and papaw, he was the person everyone turned to.

Dave enjoyed going to the shooting range with his boys, he loved his big dogs, family time and above all, lending a helping hand to all who needed it.

Dave leave behind his beloved wife, Barbara; children, Angel Waggoner, Bruce Dozier Jr., Brittany (Mat) Olson, David (Kassie) Pringle Jr. Dustin (Sara) Pringle; 15 grandchildren. Ellie, Riley, Boe, Max, Ben, Mick, Bailey, Keyana, Landon, Karter, Liam, Thomas, Taylor, Rosie, Lucy; Mother Lillian Pringle; 5 siblings, Pamela (Chuck) Callahan, Dedrea Williams, Michael (Christine) Pringle, Lisa (John) Saraya, Nancy (Brant) Pringle and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard G. Pringle; daughter, Brandi Rose Pringle and niece Jackie Kirk.

Dave will forever and always be missed. His family will honor wishes for simplicity without an elaborate funeral. There will be a Celebration of His Life at a later date with details to follow.
