VIENNA - Dean P. Voye, 85, passed away peacefully at 7:50 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the residence following an extended illness. Dean was born in Warren, Ohio on April 25, 1936 the son of Remmy and Norma (Stone) Voye Sr. and lived in this area most of his life. Dean attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated from Youngstown State University majoring in business management. He later earned a masters degree in business (MBA) from Youngstown State University. Dean was employed for 39 years at Commercial Intertech (Packer Hannifin) of Youngstown in numerous management positions. He retired in 1997. Following retirement, Dean consulted with Coleman Consulting for several years focusing on computer software implementation. He continued his interest in personal computer and smartphone software design and created several computer programs and smartphone APPs. Dean was past president, property manager and treasurer of the Shadowridge Condominium Association of Niles for many years. He was also the president of the Billow Beach Association. Dean was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren for many years where he served on parish council, as a Eucharistic minister,and various church committees and activities. He is currently a member of Saint Thomas the Apostle church after he moved to Vienna. In his spare time, Dean enjoyed stamp collecting, camping, cruising, golfing, reading, playing both 500 and bridge. He traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe and spent many good times at their summer cottage on Lake Erie. Dean is survived by his wife Joyce Eschman Voye whom he married June 27, 1957, a son Mark (Marie) Voye of Denton, Texas, three daughters, Debra (Guy) Fabrizio of Niles, Kimberly Voye of Lancaster, Ohio, Karen (Douglas) Kremer of Sugar Grove, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Mallory Voye, Heidi Friesner, Shawn (Carly) Fry, Ryan Barker, Guy James (Sami) Fabrizio, Caitlin Fabrizio, Brandon (Eileen) Kremer, Mackenzie Kremer, four great grandchildren Aiden, Carter, Lyla and Gracin. Dean was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Remmy Voye Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, Warren Sharon Road, Vienna with the Rev. Scott Kopp officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the Funeral Mass at the church. Burial will be private at All Souls Cemetery. The family request that material contributions be made to Saint Thomas the Apostle Church of Hospice of the Valley. Funeral arrangements are by the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles.
