Doris J. Pugh

LIBERTY TWSP. - Doris J.Pugh, 71, passed away at 9:35 pm on Thursday September 25, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born in Davidson, Tennessee on October 21, 1942 the daughter of O'Dell H. and Mattie (Smith) Johnson. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved family activities and singing in the family Gospel group. She was also an outstanding cook. Doris is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Pugh whom she married on March 25, 1961; two sons, Kevin Pugh of Temperance, Michigan, Scott L. Pugh of Liberty Township; brother, Jerry Johnson of Warren; six nieces; two nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky Dale Johnson who died on May 25, 2001 and a sister, Carolyn P. Davis who died on April 22, 2012. Calling Hours will be Monday, September 29, 2014 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will follow at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Darrell Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
