Dorothy L. Wagoner

NILES - Dorothy L. Wagoner, 77, died at 6:30 am on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the Autumn Hills Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on April 13, 1937 the daughter of David and Surrilda (Lawson) Waggoner. She worked in the housekeeping and laundry departments at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home and previously was an aide and worked in the laundry department at Glenn View Manor Nursing Home. She was of the Apostolic Faith. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Deborah Carpenter of Niles, Linda (James) Carpenter of Howland, Lisa (Carl) Chalker Jr. of Niles; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Rohland, Micheline Carpenter, James Carpenter Jr., Jason Carpenter, Victoria Kinster, Cody Kinster; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Waggoner of Akron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Wagoner whom she married on April 30, 1953 and who died on January 20, 2007; two sisters, Katie Little, Mageline Waggoner; two brothers, Cecil and an infant. Calling Hours will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will be Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Easterling will officiate. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
