Dorothy Mae Williams

November 26, 1923 — September 9, 2016

CHAMPION - Dorothy Mae Williams, 92, died at 1:45 a.m. on Friday September 9, 2016 at the Windsor House At Champion. She was born in North Jackson, Ohio on November 26, 1923 the daughter of John and Helen (Planton) Barrett. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, collecting cook books, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her children. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Valerie Zella and Richard Realty of Champion; grandson; great grandson; three sisters, Ida Ann Lenihan of Olympia, Washington, Florence (Wayne) Fall of Braceville, Mary Weitz of Liberty and two brothers, Donald Barrett of Tennessee, John (Ruth) Barrett of Braceville. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gorden Williams whom she married on January 22, 1941 and who died in June of 1999; a son, Billy Lee Williams who died on March 23, 2016 and a brother Elmer Barrett. A graveside service will be held at Niles City Cemetery.
