Eileen Rose Myers

December 3, 1932 — April 18, 2016

NILES - Eileen Rose Myers, 83, died at 9:25 a.m. on Monday April 18, 2016 at the St. Joseph Health Center following a long illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 3, 1932 the daughter of Anthony and Helen (Campus) Navarro. For over 20 years she was a residential aide at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. She was a member of the Army & Navy Garrison 252 Ladies' Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching television, but most of all, she loved and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eileen is survived by her husband Charles Earl Myers whom she married on May 7, 1961; two daughters, Connie (Dennis) Pykare of Warren, Helen (Edward) Banaszewski of West View, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Tina Banaszewski, Matthew (Jamie) Banaszewski, Christopher Banaszewski, Nicole (Gary) Salatino, Michelle (Ben French) Jackson; six great grandchildren, Matthew, Alina, Cameron, Carissa, Kaylee, Angelo; sister, Connie (Regis) Diethorn of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy and Theresa. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Douglas Brown of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MVI Hospice, 4891 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44410.
