Eunice Jacqueline Cera

Eunice Jacqueline Cera, 94, passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Monday November 28, 2022 at the Humility House in Austintown following a short illness. She was born in Niles, Ohio on July 9, 1928 the daughter of Felice and Ida (Petrilli) Mannella.

She was a 1946 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of St. Rose Church in Girard. She retired in 1988 after working 22 years as a secretary for the Niles City School System. She was an avid baker and enjoyed knitting. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving family.

Eunice is survived by daughter, Cynthia L. (Charles) Lininger of Gustavus; two sons, Robin T. (Roselyn) Cera of Girard, Dr. Kevin R. (Nancy) Cera of Brookville; five grandchildren, Kelli (James) Keagy of Girard, Dr. Brandon (Kaileigh) Cera of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Taylor Cera of Vienna, Dr. Carlin (Aric) Cera-Musselman of Brookville, Sidney (Connor) Domsitz of Pickerington; seven great grandchildren, Chloe Keagy, Luke Cera, Henry Cera, Thomas Domistz, Claire Domsitz, Hudson Musselman, Harrison Musselman; brother, Gene G. Mannella of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Robert Cera whom she married on July 4, 1950 and who died on January 27, 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 3, 2022 at St. Rose Church where family and friends may call one hour prior to the mass at church.
