NILES - Fay P. Gimma, 77, passed
away peacefully at 6:00 am on Palm Sunday March 24, 2013 at her
residence following a brief illness.
She was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on September
16, 1935 the daughter of Joseph and Ada L. (Holbrooks) Parker
Sr..
She retired on September 1, 1999 after working 30
years at Packard Electric Company. She was a member of Our
Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards
with her best friends. She cherished the time spent with her
family and all the family activities.
Fay is survived by two daughters, Judy Russo of
Niles, Joanna (Stephen) Miely of Sandusky; five grandchildren,
Natalie, Michael, Lesley Ann, Berkley, Nick; great grandson,
Ashton; brother, Joseph Parker of West Virginia; sister, Patty
Greenfield of McDonald and step-daughter, Tina Roison of
Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark A.
Gimma Sr. whom she married on November 12, 1966 and who died on May
10, 2008; two sisters, Frances Mowery, Ruth Williams; three
brothers, Jesse Parker, William David Parker, Infant Woodrow Parker
and a step-son, Mark A. Gimma Jr..
Calling Hours will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013
from 10 to 10:45 am at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Mass
of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Stephen
Church. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
the Valley or Mt. Carmel Church.
