HOWLAND - George Allen "Al" Warner Sr.87, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning February 2, 2019. Al was born in Quincy, Illinois on December 2, 1931 a son of Paul and Elizabeth (Keil) Warner. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Teamsters Local 507 and retired 25 years ago as a truck driver with BMI Refiners Transport. Al loved life and is survived by two daughters, Nicole Warner of Howland, Peggy Miller of Maywood, Missouri; son, William "Will" Warner of Howland; several grandchildren including Cierra, Miana, Brandon, Kevin, Carrie. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, George Allen Warner Jr., Paul Grant Warner, and brother, Grant Warner. Calling Hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday February 4, 2019 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the funeral home. Pastor James Dittmar will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
