Glyndora M. Ranalli

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP - Glyndora M. Ranalli, 59, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Monday December 28, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center following a short illness. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 22, 1956 the daughter of Glenn G. and Sharlene (Cline) Lanterman. She was a 1975 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a member of the Concert Choir. She was a teacher's aide and loved working playground duty and all the kids at her job in the Liberty School System Elementary School. She previously was a cook at Alberini's Restaurant and the owner of Cheers in McDonald. Glyndora cherished family activities, playing bingo, going to the casinos crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and scary movies. She was a Halloween enthusiast. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, especially making wedding soup, Christmas hard tack candy, which she gave as gifts and her legendary canned hot peppers. A loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and aunt, Glyndora is survived by her parents, Glenn and Sharlene Lanterman of Austintown; husband, Edward Ranalli whom she married on February 26, 1993; three sons, Army Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie (Kelli) Ranalli stationed in Italy, Robert (Traci) Ranalli of Liberty Township, Richard Ranalli of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Gabbie, Rocco, Ryan, Ruby Ranalli; brother, Frank (Michelle) Lanterman of Austintown; sister, Andrea (Robert) Rouan of Austintown; two nieces Rachel Rouan and Olivia Lanterman. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will be Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Evening Light Apostolic Church where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Darrell Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
