Harold Cline

Harold Cline , 93, passed away on Saturday evening, August 24, 2024 at the residence with his family at his side following a short illness. Harold was born in Lawton, Kentucky on April 29, 1931 the son of Edward and Lillie (Davis) Cline and came to Niles in 1955.

Harold worked for the Niles Fire Brick Company for 15 years and retired in 1994 from the American Welding Company following many years of faithful service. He was of the Apostolic faith. Harold enjoyed working outdoors and tending to his garden. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Harold is survived by his wife, Shirley F. Cox Cline whom he married September 26, 1953; two daughters, Dianna Jones of Niles, Janet (John) Anderson of Cortland; grandson, Shannon (Marisa) Jones; granddaughter, Kelly (Josh) Elswick; two very good friends, Jack Epperhart and Joe Wagner. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call for one hour prior to the services. The Rev. Garey McCartney of the Galilee Apostolic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
