Ina Jewell Boggs

NILES - Ina Jewell Boggs, 87, passed away at 10:08 am on Friday May 2, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Lawton, Kentucky on September 18, 1926 the daughter of John and Sarah (Wagoner) Wagoner and moved to Niles in 1995. For 20 years she worked at the Write Down Cleaners in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She had many hobbies including collecting baby dolls, sewing, quilting, camping and playing bingo. Ina is survived by a sister, Lucille Porter with whom she made her home; four children, Shauley Boggs, Ronnie (Nancy) Boggs, Theresa (Greg) Rose, Darrell Boggs all of Carter County, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Brandon, Richard, Blake and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Boggs whom she married on September 8, 1952 and who died on May 19, 1997; four brothers, Ray, Estel "Doc", Lloyd and Willard D. Wagoner. Calling Hours will be Monday, May 5, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
