Jackie Lynn Dell

Jackie Lynn Dell , 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown from a heart attack suffered at home. Jackie was born in Warren, Ohio on July 5, 1954 the daughter of Marvin "Jack" and Betty "Jo" (Heitman) Hodgkinson and has lived in Niles all her life.

Jackie was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was baptized at the Saint Luke's Episcopal Church of Niles. She was senior designer at Reese Floral Art with her mother who is the lifelong owner for the past 72 years. She was especially talented in the floral design industry and was well respected by her clients and friends as she gave special attention to their weddings, parties and special family gatherings. Jackie did enjoy doing some shopping in her spare time and cherished her family holidays with her children and grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by her mother Jo Coupland and her husband Gary R. Coupland of Niles, three children: Aaron Torrence of Niles with whom she lived, Andrea (Joe) Catone of Hubbard, Phillip (Tricia) Dell Gainesville, Virginia, seven grandchildren: Brenden Ritter and fiance Victoria Leonard, D elaney Grubbs, Joseph Catone, Vincent Catone, Patrick Dell, Lucas Dell, Alaina Dell, niece Amanda Reese, nephew Jason (Sharon) Reese, two step brothers Gary R. "Bob" Coupland, and Richard W. Coupland.

She was preceded in death by her father, who died following an RMI explosion, brother, Norman Reese who died August 27, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Niles at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 with the Rev. Patrick Mitchell officiating. The family will have calling hours on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 3:00p.m. to 6.00p.m. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
