James Kenneth Baker

December 17, 1950 — October 14, 2014

NILES - James Kenneth Baker, 63, died at 7:00 am on Tuesday October 14, 2014 at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Warren on December 17, 1950 the son of George and Mary Alberta (Brewer) Baker Sr. He retired in the 1980's after working many years in the melt shop department at the RMI Company. He was a member of St. Stephen Church and the Army and Navy Garrison 252. He was a little league baseball coach for his son's team and an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Most of all he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Jim is survived by his father, George Baker Sr. of Niles; six children, Eva Ibaachen of Revere, Massachusetts, Jennifer Maines of Niles, Brian Baker of Kernersville, North Carolina, Felicia Riche of Niles, Stephanie Riche of Girard, Melanie Riche of Girard; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Judith Ann Dupler of Florida, Patricia Kuhn of Mineral Ridge, Mary Alice McCarley of Lordstown, Tracy Eckrote of Mineral Ridge; four brothers, George Baker Jr. of Grandville, David R. Baker of Niles, Gregory Baker of Niles, Thomas C. Baker of McDonald; former wife, Carlen Macsko of Niles and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. A Service of Christian Burial will follow at 8 pm at the funeral home. Rev. James Korda will officiate.
