James Dennis Lunt

James Dennis (Opat) Lunt , 54, passed away on Friday November 8, 2024 at his home following complications of a heart ailment. He was born in Warren, Ohio on November 22, 1969 the son of Robert L. and Marlene (Greene) Opat.

Jim loved his family and cherished all the family activities. He was an outstanding auto and boat detailer and loved to be around cars and his motorcycle. A history buff, he enjoyed watching old western movies and history documentaries.

Jim is survived by a sister, Kathlene (Thomas) Boring of Mineral Ridge; brother, Gabriel L. Opat of Niles; son, Jacob Redmond of Springhill, Florida; grandson Levi Redmond; nieces and nephews, Anna R. (Daniel) Hawout, Cody T. Boring, Jessika (George) Hoffman, Jacob (Michelle) Rowe, Healee Opat, Leena Opat, Xia Opat, Allen Ropp; great nieces and nephews, Aria R., Thea Z., Joplin, Marley, LJ, Murphy; aunt, Elaine Greene; uncle, Michael Greene. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanette D. Rowe and uncle Andrew Greene.

A celebration of his life will be held in the future.
