Jaqueline "Jackie" Yandura

NILES - Jacqueline T. "Jackie" Yandura, 69, passed away peacefully at 4:45 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Joseph Health Center following a six month illness. She was born in Warren on February 15, 1946 the daughter of Ernest Tabor and Nellie (Clemens) Viars and lived in Niles all her life. Jackie was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of IUE Local #717. She was employed for 34 years in the labor gang and the humming birds at the Packard Electric Company, followed by 10 years as a sales consultant for Dillard Department Store. Jackie enjoyed family gatherings and especially spending quality time with her granddaughters. Jackie is survived by a son, Mark Yandura and his wife Cindy; granddaughters, Bella Yandura and Caitlin Yandura all of Delaware, Ohio, and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David M. Yandura whom she married May 9, 1970 and who passed away January 29, 2012; two sisters Olive Gilliam, Wanda Knapp and brother, Eugene Tabor. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Darrell Cline officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
