Jeffery David Mullett

Jeffery David Mullett , 66, passed away peacefully at 5:19 a.m. on Sunday. September 7, 2025 at the Louis Stokes Veterans Hospital, Cleveland  following a long illness.

Jeffery was born in Warren, Ohio on August 9, 1959 the son of Dayne Lee and Dorothy Jean (Shaffer) Mullett. He was a 1977 graduate of Howland High School and attended Kent State University, Trumbull Branch to study Automotive Engineering. He was a member of Saint Robert's Catholic Church of Cortland. Jeffery served in the United States Air Force from December 1982 until December 2008 and retired as an E. Seven Master Sergeant. When his sons were younger, the family was active in the Boy Scout programs and the Warren Junior Military Band, where Jeff frequently called weekly bingo. Jeffery was employed by the City of Warren in the engineering department from 1985 until 2022 when he transferred to the water department. He retired from the city in 2024.

Jeffery met Helena Janis in August 1987 and they were married in November 18, 1989. He is survived by his wife and three sons: Justin Ryan (Heather) Mullett of Struthers, Edward James Mullett of Warren, Sean Anthony Mullett of Cortland, three grandchildren: Jaden, Mason, Jasmine and furry companions Maxxi a mini dachshound and Abby a mini assiedoodle .He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Service of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday October 12, 2025 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Brian Cline will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Wounded Worriers Program or the Birds in Flight Sanctuary, 8095 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Canfield, Ohio.
