Jeffrey Michael Jay, 61, passed away on Friday afternoon July 10, 2026 at Mercy Health Saint Joseph Hospital in Warren of a heart ailment.
He was born December 4, 1964 in Northfield, Ohio the son of Paul and Beverly (Orahoske) Jay. He was of the Christian Faith.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, turtle trapping, listening to music and going to concerts. He was an avid Led Zeppelin and Minnesota Vikings fan.
Jeff is survived by his devoted life partner of 41 years Linda Warren with who he made his home; three children Rebecca Warren of Cleveland, Jacob Warren (Mia Breese) of Warren. Zach Warren of Mineral Ridge; two brothers, Scot (Jodi) Jay of Kent and Brian Jay of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Todd Jay.
A Celebration of Life picnic will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026 at his home at 1445 Salt Springs Road in Weathersfield Township. The picnic will start at 3:00 p.m.
