Joan Arlene Mook

NORTH BLOOMFIELD - Joan Arlene Mook, 80, passed away on Saturday morning February 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on September 3, 1934 the daughter of Jacob and Lorma (Ellis) Pirrung. For 23 years, Joan was a school bus driver for the Bristol School District. She also was a pilot and enjoyed flying. Joan is survived by her husband, Claude G. Mook Jr. whom she married on August 18, 1954; three children, Richard (Rita) Mook of Crestview, Florida, Karen (Robert) Spitler of Mecca, Thomas Mook of Bristol; two grandchildren; great grandson; sister, Joy Monty of Howland; and half brother, Kenneth McCartney of Jasper, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Pirrung. There are no calling hours or funeral and cremation has taken place.
