Joyce A. Marino

Weathersfield Township - Joyce A. Marino, 70, went home to be with the Lord at 9:33 pm on Friday May 30, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic following a short illness. She was born in Niles on December 8, 1943 the daughter of the late Max C. and Wilma I. (Bycraft) Fredenburg and was affectionately known to many as "Joycie." A 1961 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and enjoyed wine making, gardening and spending time with friends and family. Joyce is survived by her husband, Anthony C. Marino Sr. whom she married on July 11, 1961; two daughters, Denise (Bill) Killin of Howland, Lisa (Duane) Austin of Weathersfield Twsp.; son, Anthony C. Marino Jr. of Weathersfield Twsp.; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Cornicelli and fiancee Joe Sember, Amy (Mike) Tricomi, Jon (Karen) Austin, Mike (Rebecca) Austin, Joe Austin, Angela (Kevin) Robertson, Cassandra (Samer) Judeh, Megan (Jeff) Kovacich, Kara Killin and fiancee Brad Samsa; four great grandchildren, Jakobie Austin, Raphael Austin, Titus Austin, Aden Judeh. In addition to the individuals listed above, any one Joyce met instantly became a part of her family, as she welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart. Joyce's smile and laugh was contagious and her love of life was inspirational. Without her knowing, she touched many lives with her comforting words of wisdom, which will never be forgotten. Joycie will be truly missed by her family and friends and will forever have a special place in the hearts of many. The funeral will be Monday, June 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm. Rev. Rick Oaks of the First United Methodist Church of Warren will officiate.
