Joyce Ann Voye , 83, passed away peacefully at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 6, 2024 at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center with her family at her bedside. She was born in Warren, Ohio on December 7, 1940 the daughter of Charles H. and Helen Irene (Beardsley) Eschman.
Joyce attended Saint Mary's School and in the late 1990's, Joyce worked for over fourteen years at H & R Block. She currently was a member of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, in Vienna and for many years was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Warren where she was head of the Family Life Committee, a member of parish council and Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed many good times at their summer cottage on Lake Erie, shopping with her friends, playing a good game of Bridge, Pollyanna, camping trips with her kids and friends. She had the opportunity to travel abroad and loved cruising the Caribbean with her husband of 64 years. Her loving courtship with him, began as neighbors, where Dean was the local paper boy.
Joyce is survived by a son, Mark (Marie) Voye of Denton, Texas; two daughters, Debra (Guy) Fabrizio of Niles, Karen (Douglas) Kremer of Sugar Grove, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Mallory (Mike) Voye, Heidi Friesner, Shaun (Carlie) Fry, Ryan Barker, Guy James (Sami) Fabrizio, Caitlin Fabrizio, Brandon (Eileen) Kremer, Mac Kremer; seven great grandchildren Aiden, Keatin, Carter, Lyla, Gracin, Bailey, Guy James IV a brother, Thomas Eschman of Warren, sister, Carol Puskar of Santa Cruz, California and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean P. Voye whom she married on June 27, 1957 and who died on October 4, 2021; daughter, Kimberly Voye on May 5, 2023 and brother Joseph Eschman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, Warren Sharon Road, Vienna. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral mass at the church. Rev. Ryan Furlong will be the celebrant. The family welcomes attendees to a luncheon at Cafe 422 following the service. Burial will be private at All Souls Cemetery.
