Julie L. Turner

AUSTINTOWN - Julie L. Turner 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday May 9, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born in Warren, Ohio on March 24, 1960 the daughter of Glen R. and Delores (Binion) Wiltrout. She was a 1978 graduate of Jackson Milton High School and worked for over 35 years as an accountant and bookkeeper. She and her husband resided in Dallas, Georgia for fifteen years and just recently moved back to Austintown. She enjoyed making crafts, playing bingo and loved her dogs. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her granddaughter, Naveah. Julie is survived by her husband, James L. Turner whom she married on June 12, 2004; two daughters, Chrissy (Shawn) McCarthy of Austintown, Valerie Fry of Austintown; granddaughter, Naveah Shaffer; mother, Delores Wiltrout Rahde of Austintown; sister, Rebecca Cortes of Galena Park, Texas and her God daughter, Kennedi Dewberry. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen; grandparents, Otha and Florence Binion, Joseph and Anne Wiltrout; and brother in law, Angel Cortes. Per her request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to your favorite animal welfare organization in her memory.
